Time values in pop-ups and in layers or maps To ensure that time values display properly, use the Format Cells option in Excel to choose the time format to apply to all cells in that column before creating the layer. Because of this, unlike true date and time values, time-only values cannot be used in time animations. Use time formats- When your data contains time-only fields (as opposed to date and time fields), ArcGIS for Office converts these values to strings to display them in pop-ups.Formatting such columns as text ensures that your data will remain accurate. If your data contains a number that includes a leading zero, as is common with ZIP Codes, Excel interprets these fields as numerical values and strips out the leading zero, changing the original value. Use text values-Columns in your dataset that will be used for location (ZIP Codes, for example) should be formatted as textual values, not numerical values.Using an Excel table allows ArcGIS for Office to add columns containing new information to the dataset. Use Excel tables-In most cases, it's recommended that you format your data as an Excel Excel table before you add it to the map.You can quickly add a layer to your map by using the default options, or you can specify your data source, location type, and styling options manually. When you begin the Add Data workflow, ArcGIS for OfficeĪnalyzes the data in the currently selected Excel table or range of cells and suggests the best ways to represent it on the map. Also like the S7, the 10 comes with 32GB of storage that can be expanded using the phone’s microSD card slot. HTC 10: The HTC 10 comes with the same quad-core processor and 4GB of RAM as the S7, so you’re not going to see a huge difference between the two handsets in terms of performance. The S7’s battery will last all day on a single charge, and thanks to its fast-charging capabilities you can get a 50% charge in 30 minutes. And if you run through all of that, you can always throw in your own microSD card to increase the S7’s storage capacity. ![]() The S7 comes with 32GB of on-board storage. The takeaway: None of these three phones takes bad photos, but between the three I lean toward the Galaxy S7’s camera, as I’m a fan of its exaggerated colors and its low-light photo capabilities. Low-light shots were clear, though not as bright as the Galaxy S7’s pictures. They weren’t washed out nor were they overly saturated. In terms of color, the G5’s shots fell between the HTC 10 and Galaxy S7. The fact that most of the time the Inspire 1 can give good results with the 25mm is amazing, and we're all already spoiled. And if you wanna fly longer focal lengths like the 25mm and 45mm, remember it will probably need to be a day without much wind, and that not every shot is going to be shake/jello free. Get that gimbal balanced perfect (with the motors off, any position you set it in with your hand it should stay there perfectly, without drooping or tilting). Especially if there is any wind or other external factors. And if you were to use the 45mm Zuiko, that's the equivalent to 100mm in FF! Even as amazing as the Inspire 1 is, getting shake free footage from such long focal lengths is a VERY tough ask from a multirotor. A 25mm shooting at 4k on the X5/X5R is the FF equivalent of a 55mm focal length. And lastly, some times at longer focal lengths it's just nigh impossible to get jello-free shots. ![]() Also make sure your Inspire 1 doesn't have any odd vibrations from things like chipped or unbalanced props. Also, make sure the gimbal is VERY well balanced so that the motors don't have to spend their time correcting balance/load, instead the motors only have to worry about maintaining the proper orientation. So, how do you avoid jello? Well, use NDs to bring your shutter down to as close to 1/100 as you can get it. Now, you can still get jello with the 12mm, it's just not as noticeable. Any camera shake is seemingly magnified when your focal length is longer. Also keep in mind, shake and jello are more noticeable at longer focal lengths because the field of view is so much narrower (it's more "zoomed in"). However, it can also show at low shutter speed. This is most noticeable when using a high shutter speed. In that fraction of a second, elements in the scene may change slightly in the overall scene, causing the "jello" look. The entire sensor is not read at the same instant in time, it is read from top-to-bottom, or left-to-right, etc. The X5R, like almost every digital video camera, uses a CMOS sensor with a "rolling shutter". ![]() That's the "jello effect", in this case from vibration of the I1 or gimbal. Now, if that doesn’t work, of course you can try a reboot (which I would do anyway to be sure this change persists!). It should keep the time zone in the right place and update your clock to the correct time. When you’ve done that, then turn the “Set time zone automatically using current location” checkbox back on. When you do so, you can click on the map (or type in the box at the bottom) to find your closest city. Then deselect the “Set time zone automatically using current location” checkbox. Here’s what’s reliably worked for me: First, revisit the “Time Zone” tab, then click the lock in the lower-left corner and type in your admin password to authorize your changes. Yes, this one is actually correct, since the screenshot’s from my Mac. According to VMware Fusion, though, the Mac OS X installer disk was not a bootable disk. I also tried, in vain, to boot Mac OS X’s install disk under VMware to create a Mac OS X virtual machine. This behavior snagged me a few times while I was running a virtual machine in the background and was waiting for the optical media to show up in Mac OS X’s desktop. One thing to beware of - when you insert CD-ROMs or DVDs, Fusion grabs the media by default for the virtual machine, even when it’s not in the foreground. It will also then be registered in Fusion’s Virtual Machine Library (which is just a list of virtual machines that VMware Fusion knows about).
